A particular challenge for large corporations and collaborative networks in the automotive industry

As a part of a previous study on new business models in the automotive industry, we discussed necessary changes in the context of digitization. The CFOs mentioned the development of platforms and ecosystems as well as intra- and inter-organizational networking as important change mechanisms. Three years later, we are observing that for many OEMs this path has still not been completed. Based on the previous changes, further fields of action have emerged, such as the establishment of an effective data governance or the implementation of necessary measures in the area of IT security and risk management. Hence, in this white paper we focus on the challenges regarding this development in risk reporting.
