Most CEOs will soon need to look further ahead and change their mindset from reactive to more proactive. Boards, owners and not least employees will start asking “What now? – what are the expectations for the next 6-9 months and what is the plan to get us there?”
However, the old ways of defining strategy will no longer work. We need to acknowledge that this calls for new ways of defining strategies. The pace of change will make it necessary to strategise and execute simultaneously.
