In our study, we followed three tracks. In the first place, we conducted in-depth interviews with the parties involved. After all, the responsibility for the system lies not only with the government, but also with initiators of experiments, knowledge institutions and social organizations. Parallel to this, we conducted research into system innovations in a completely different domain: healthcare. With care advisers from TwynstraGudde, we have learned points about the way in which this sector deals with the admission of innovative aids. Thirdly, we looked at how Sweden, Germany, the UK and the US are dealing with the rise of the self-driving car. We have tightened up the preliminary results and supplemented them in analysis, comparison and future sessions.
